What We Like?

There are lots to like about this BC, but below are a few items we liked the most:

Lightweight and easy to pack – The main selling point for this BC is the fact that it’s one of the lightest on the market. It can be easily packed in carry-on luggage and won’t take up a lot of space.

Very Comfortable – Although it’s lightweight, it’s also designed with comfort in mind. It’s very comfortable to wear even will full geared up.

Rear inflation – This makes it less restrictive in the front of the BC while being very streamlined underwater.

Plenty of Storage and D-Rings – For a travel BCD, we were surprised at how much storage it had. It comes with several D-Rings to attach additional dive gear and a large zippered pocket.

Affordable Price Point– This is one of the most affordable travel BCs on the market, without compromising on quality or features.

What We Don’t Like?

There aren’t a lot of things we didn’t like about this BC, but below are a few minor complaints:

Not a lot of features for advanced divers – This BC is designed for the traveling recreational diver and doesn’t have a lot of features that would be appealing to more advanced divers as you would find on the Zeagle Ranger or Scubapro Hydros.

No trim pockets – It’s weight integrated, there are no trim pockets to help you achieve proper balance while diving.

Who Should Buy the Cressi Travelight BCD?

So, who is this BCD best suited for? Obviously, it’s a great choice for divers who are looking for a travel BC. It’s also good for those who want a lightweight and compact BCD that doesn’t sacrifice too much in terms of features.

It’s a great choice for beginner and experienced recreational divers who do most of their diving in warm tropical waters. But, if you are a professional or someone that dives more often, It might not hold up to the riggers of everyday diving.
